Happy Thanksgiving! Most importantly, I want you all to know how thankful I am for each and every one of you. Your support throughout my journey is much appreciated. THANK YOU.
As many of you know, I am a member of an improv troupe called WNY Improv Inc. When the pandemic started in 2020, and all our shows were canceled, we decided to go online. We had zoom meetings, created characters, and started our series. This character, Carol Lastnamè sprouted out of one of those Zoom sessions. Not exactly the best role model, Carol plugs along with her very successful children's series 'Crafts With Carol.'
For this episode, please welcome troupe mate and co-host Justin Chortie!

So, believe it or not, I do other acting jobs besides short video skits, simulated patients, and murder mystery dinners. This time I actually auditioned and was cast in a movie! It's not a big role but the whole movie hinges on it - well, not really - seriously, not even close! I did get to work with my good friend Linda Mesi! You'll meet her soon.
On today's episode of Judy Clark After Dark our guest is a filmmaker! Welcome my friend Olu Akanbi as we discuss his full-length feature film Route 24.
The premise of the movie is in the nation of Nazir, an ex-convict returns home to a cynical world more imprisoning than the one he left.
To add to the impressiveness, Route 24 was accepted to multiple film festivals: Official selection of New Cinema Film Festival, Vesuvius International Film Festival, Ostia International Film Festival, L'Age d'Or International Arthouse Film Festival, and Tagore International Film Festival.

Ok, ok, I didn't make the poster. Shooting the movie was fun!

Booooo! Happy Halloween! This is my favorite holiday of the year. I love the costumes, colors, and spookiness not to mention the free candy!
This week's episode of Judy Clark After Dark in 4 minutes or less is our Halloween special. Hey, every show has to have one, right?
Everyone welcome Ted Winkle to our cast this week. Ted is a member of our improv group WNY Improv Inc, a retired veterinarian, now a bass player, and an all-around good guy. One evening after an improv practice, we asked if he would like to film a skit. He said sure! We handed him the script and his treat was already having lines! He was quite surprised and asked how he had lines. We responded, we knew he would show up. Sometimes, that all it takes.
People who know me, know that I don't eat of lot of candy but my favorite is Baby Ruth, or maybe Mounds, or maybe Dark sponge candy. Ok, ok don't judge! I'm going to go eat a salad. LOL.
So what is your favorite Halloween treat?
