The Stars of Denmark!

Meet the stars of our recent short film - Revenge of the Mistress. Since our short film was almost exactly 4 minutes, we were not able to introduce the stars. We sat down with both Yvonne Anderson and Erik Lysbjerg to discover and share some behind-the-scenes action in the making of our film. The interesting thing is this is the very first time we ever spoke to each other! Prior to this online meeting, everything was done through messaging.

Another interesting point is the time difference between us. I had to drink wine at 9 am Sunday morning and no, it wasn't for church! LOL

Is she really Lucy???

Oh my goodness, yes! Given the opportunity to be Lucy, I jumped at the chance! Lori Caso invited me on her show Lori with Friends and mentioned something about the 1950's. We've Gone International!

When I first started acting a few years back, I took a home study MasterClass by Dustin Hoffman. MasterClass Online Classes Man, did I learn a lot! I was actually featured in a Parade magazine article because of this - more on that another time.

Part of the class included a Facebook group where we could post our assignments which mainly consisted of self-tapes of scripts we were working on. Through this group and posting, I met a woman very similar to me - a middle-aged woman learning to act - and we became Facebook friends. Her name is Yvonne Anderson.

Over the years, we've followed each other's careers. Recently, she posted herself fencing, and I made a joke about drinking wine and fencing. How dangerous that could be! More wine? Get it? Well, that idea blossomed into a script, the story grew, and we decided to film it. Yvonne invited her friend Erik Lysbjerg, and they found a photographer/cameraman who likes to edit, Steen Pedersen.

The project just kept growing. I really wanted to be in the film but did not know how since I was in Buffalo, and they were in Denmark. So, I figured at least of picture of me would do. That's the one Yvonne is holding. It's from a previous show. Steen would not have that. He encouraged me to film on a green screen, and he added me to the film!

Mind you, all of this was done online through messaging. We never spoke in person! Our project is a testament to very talented, dedicated people. They have really 'upped my game!'

Our film is called Revenge of the Mistress. Judy finds herself transported in both space and time, where she crosses swords with her nemesis, Yvonne.
